For almost 20 years, Your Local Florist has been proud to call Plymouth County home. As a family-owned and operated shop, we believe flowers are one of the best ways to bring people together, and we’re just as committed to our community as we are to our craft. At the heart of every community is the opportunity to care for one another
Throughout the year, we host fundreaisers and accept donations to help provide complete Thanksgiving meals for local families experiencing financial hardship. Our mission is simple: to ensure every family has the opportunity to gather around the table and enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, our first year 2024, we were able to provide complete Thanksgiving dinners for six local families.
Each year our goal is to increase the number of families, and with your support, we can make an even greater impact.
How You Can Help
Sponsor a Family — choose to provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family of any size.
Donate Non-Perishable Food Items — drop off anytime at A Wareham Florist between October 1st and November 15th
Make a Monetary Donations ..... Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us purchase the items needed to complete each family's Thanksgiving meal.

Single Mom Christmas Stocking Giving
With the spirit of Giving, A Wareham Florist and our "We Care" team believe that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting difference.
Each Christmas, our mission is to remind single moms that they are seen, appreciated and loved. Through the generosity of our "We Care" team and our community, we create beautiful Christmas stockings filled with thoughtful gifts such as lotions, bath bombs, candles, cozy socks, hair accessories, lip gloss , sweet treats and many other comforting items. Every stocking is carefully assembled with love, with the hope that each mom who receives one feels the warmth, encouragement, and support of people who truly care.
Being a single mom can often feel overwhelming, expecially during the holiday season. Our goal is to brighten their Christmas with more than just gifts...we want to give hope, encouragement and the comforting reminder that they are not alone.
Throughout the year, we host fundraisers and gratefully accept donations of new items and monetary contributions to help us continue this heartfelt mission. Every donation, every volunteer, and every act of kindness helps us reach more moms and make each stocking a little more special.
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported our.."We Care" team over the years. Whether you've donated, helped purchase items, filled stockings, or delivered them with love, you have become an important part of this mission. Your generosity has touched countless lives, and because of you, many single moms have experienced the joy of knowing that someone cared enough to think of them during the holidays.
As we continue to grow, we welcome anyone who would like to join us in spreading kindness, compassion and hope. Together, we can make sure more moms feel loved...not just at Christmas, but all year long.
