I LOVE this facial scrub! It is made with finer sugar than our normal scrub for gentle exfoliation. I have named it brightening because of the citrus aspects I include. Citrus is fantastic for your skin - especially for your face. Citrus boasts anti-aging and skin-saving benefits, such as brightening the skin, tightening the pores, and increasing radiance.



Calendula is so healing on the skin. It soothes inflammation and improves overall appearance.



The high levels of essential fatty acids in Rosehip Oil helps to even skin tone and reduce signs of aging, including smoothing fine lines and softening the skin. Carrot Seed Oil is high in antioxidants and Vitamin A and has regenerative and protective properties that work to nourish the skin.



I don't include turmeric in my scrub because some people are sensitive to it (yours truly included). But, if you would like the additional brightening benefits of turmeric - you can add 1/4 ti 1/2 tsp to the jar and stir well.



Because of the phytotoxic risks of Citrus - it is best not to use right before exposure to sunlight.
